Hello everyone,how to I find the iron ingot ? - Guild Wars Forums

I am just newbie, I bought Guild wars yesterday, I played half day and get to level 5 ,but I never see the staffs call iron ingot ??? or something else ? or the wood pank something like that. where can I found it ? or ???
I killed a lots of Monster already, but I cannot see those thing I need. Please, anyone help me, Thank you so much !

Iron Ingots are considered "material". You get it from salvaging weapons and items such as swords. Wood can be salvaged from bows. Just buy a salvage pack at the merchant and use it on an item.

Iron Ingots and Wood Planks are MATERIALS.

You get them by using Salvage Kits on items.

For example, if you salvage a longbow, you will most likely get Wood Planks.

For Iron Ingots, try salvaging Axes and Swords.

Just examples - there are many items that salvage to many materials!

Thanks for you guys, so I just need a salvage pack ? right,
you know, I salvage a lots of weapons, I sold them all....

I go to the Crafter, I want to buy a nice sowrd call Rinblade
but when I buy it ,it show me about" you need 5 more Iron ingots
so what should I do ? where I can get these iron ingots?
sorry, I am so stupid,...so ..please tell me

I get long sword,Axe in my inventory already ? what else do I need ?
